Brno Christmas markets have shut their stalls, but our invitation to come and enjoy the city centre’s Christmas illuminations continues! Come and visit the Zimní bar (Winter Bar) on Freedom Square, the Kruhový bar (Circular Bar) on Moravian Square, and the Ježíškův bar (Baby Jesus Bar) on Dominican Square. Still adorning this latter spot is Jiří Halouzka’s wooden Nativity scene, while the ice rink on Moravian Square also remains open – the perfect place to burn off some Christmas calories.

Brno Christmas 2023 is now finally over, and all that remains is to look forward to Brno Christmas 2024. And what will it be like?
Well, we now know that it will take place in the European Capital of Christmas – Brno has been awarded the title for 2024. And that it will celebrate 100 years from the time when the first ever public Christmas tree in Czechoslovakia was erected on Brno’s Freedom Square.
It’ll be worth it!
